[maemo-community] Self Nomination Upcoming Elections

HI.  I've yet to confirm karma values, but please to verify to the mailing list,
if you haven't already, that you're running for both HFC and MCC if you haven't
already.  It is preferred (by current Council and at least one member of the
Board) that all those running for one run for both so as not to wind up with a
split Council.

FWIW:  One Board member is insisting we keep the two separate for voting
purposes, to allow the community to decide if they want to have two Council or
one.  As a candidate, you have equal say on the matter by making you declaration
for one or both as well.  I would personally ask that you consider running for
both to allow for one body to be elected to control both if the community
decides such.

To be clear, this is not about HiFo Board, which will be decided shortly after
(I hope).  This is about having two split Council, which from what I can tell is
not of interest to the community.
