Ok, it seems that there are several categories here:<br />
* Apps ready for daily use and that most of us would like having<br />
installed by default in our devices. For me:<br />
- Pidgin<br />
- Advanced backlight applet<br />
- Load applet<br />
- Xournal<br />
- Canola (if it would have a better/faster media scanner and indexer)<br />
- mogg<br />
- Maemo mapper<br />
- Maemo wordpy<br />
- Large Status bar clock<br />
- OMWeather<br />
<br />
* Apps that need some "coders" love:<br />
- Maemo-recorder<br />
<br />
* Apps under development or that doesn't exist yet:<br />
- Rotation support (including software based keyboard and handwriting method)<br />
<br />
Anyway, I think that a wiki with some kind of rating system would help<br />
to "organize" this<br />
