I've permitted myself a cross-post since I know many of the people<br>
elligible to vote in the Maemo community elections that are on now are<br>
not on the community list, where these things get discussed.<br>

The Maemo Community Council elections for Spring 2009 will finish at<br>
23:59 UTC Thursday the 19th of March.<br>
<br>
As of a couple of hours ago, 138 people of 717 voters have cast their<br>
ballot. For the council to have legitimacy, it's important that as many<br>
people as possible vote in the election.<br>
<br>
For those of you who haven't followed the election, the list of<br>
candidates, plus their reasons for running and goals for the council,<br>

they have a valuable role to play in the community.<br>

last Tuesday, and a Maemo account since before last December 19th) and<br>
you have not received a voting token as described in Tim Samoff's recent<br>
blog on the issue, please drop me an email quickly & we'll get it sorted<br>
