<div>community relations will be, as this will be the term that will see the MeeGo</div>
<div>1.1 release, the Maemo Summit replacement (-> MeeGo Conference), and also</div>
<div>covers 2010H2 which was announced as the tentative timing for the first </div>
<div>MeeGo-Harmattan device (=new users, new developers !).</div>

<div>I feel many take <a href="http://maemo.org">maemo.org</a> for granted, the stuff in Extras and all the </div>
<div>infrastructure that ticks in the background - which gets noticed only if it</div>
<div>misbehaves. If there is to be a solid bridge between <a href="http://maemo.org">maemo.org</a> (with Extras </div>
<div>and all) and MeeGo Extras and community repositories, this is the time to</div>
<div>fight/work for it. Nokia cannot do this *instead* of the community - it will have </div>
<div>to take it's fate into it's own hands - and that's something the Council *can* </div>
<div>and should do as a legitimately elected representative body.</div>

<div>Some of you might have already noticed Council activites on MeeGo lists </div>
<div>pertaining this, and sure enough, I think the people in the next term will have </div>
<div>to spend at least as much time in <a href="http://meego.com">meego.com</a> as they do on <a href="http://maemo.org">maemo.org</a>. </div>
<div>That is the only way we can maintain at least some forms of </div>
<div>continuity/migration and avoid the slow death of the <a href="http://maemo.org">maemo.org</a></div>
<div>community (yes, if you are a user, that includes the fate of your N900, too).</div>
