Yes, I can confirm that.  It is just a port of the old dhrystone.

Well, the second set of tests give more consistent results.  And if the first 
test results cannot be reproduced, well, no need to worry about it!  Maybe 
the test was inadvertently run in parallel with other CPU hogging 
processes...
