Not with GCC >=4.0 and GDB >=6.1.  GCC 4.0 adds location information
to the debug symbols so that GDB 6.1 can debug also -fomit-frame-pointer
compiled binaries (see the GCC and GDB changelogs for more info)...

I'm hoping Scratchbox to get GCC 4.x. :-)
