What's the problem with cut&paste?

Maemo includes a clipboard server and I've understood that Gtk and Qt
comply to the same clipboard (and D&D) X desktop standard, see:

Yea, half of the application code can easily be in its user interface.

Gazpacho that has been discussed on the list should help in this
regard a bit.  With it one doesn't need to do that much Gtk code.
