Hi, Which RedHat version do you use? I'm using RH9 clone and Xnest is included into the distro: whereis Xnest |cut -f2 -d' ' |xargs rpm -qf XFree86-Xnest-4.3.0-2.90.55 I think Xnest can be easily found for at least RH from 7.1 to 9 and FC. Package name is XFree86-Xnest. If it's not included into your RH try to use any rpm search website like http://www.rpmseek.com for example. BTW, you can also use xvnc. It has been discussed here on this list a couple of days ago. Xvnc RH packages can also be found without a problem and both these packages are included in my distro: whereis Xvnc |cut -f2 -d' ' |xargs rpm -qf vnc-server-4.0-0.beta4.1.4 whereis vncviewer |cut -f2 -d' ' |xargs rpm -qf vnc-4.0-0.beta4.1.4 On Sat, 2005-06-04 at 21:25, ext Avdpro Pang wrote: > Hi > I met a problem on Maemo on Linux. > According to the tutorial, I need Xnest to run maemo. But I can't find Xnest for RHLinux. I think the Xnest is just a XServer for maemo. So I guess I can use my RHLinux's Gnome environment. But I don't know how to set DISPLAY for the scratchbox. Can you help me on this? > You know, I'm a Linux newbie. I really want to get involved into Maemo world and port our MGS.
