I'd use it with VirtualPC, or similar, to enable Maemo development under OS X or Windows. A properly configured boot-cd would be perfect for that, 'Maemo-in-a-box'. :)

    Subject: [maemo-developers] MaemoLive 0.4a available
      Hello folks,

I just finished Maemo 0.4a, which is probably the last alpha version. It
now includes anjuta and some of the maemo apps (Plucker, ToDo, AbiWord).
Usage is still a bit crude. If you plan using the CD for development,
you may want to save changes made to the live filesystem that are
located in /var/tmp/union/scratchbox (just tar it). In future versions I
will provide some scripts for it.

In this iteration I still used the binary packages, for the next
iteration I will probably compile all the stuff needed.

Our live CD may be good enough for starting development for maemo
without needing a Linux box as well as for just getting a glimpse on the
maemo GUI. But in which direction should the Live-CD develop? Should we
provide a polished version that boots straight into maemo to demonstrate
the possibilities of the GUI? Should we focus on developers and include
tools? Should we build a derivative version that could be used with
CoLinux to give people who just developed on windows the possibility to
    develop for maemo?
