Caution here!

Miguel said at GUADEC:
1. It is about one man-month worth of effort to write a new JIT CPU
backend for Mono - for a very experienced programmer, familiar with a)
Mono and b) the architecture/CPU.
2. Ximian just acquired two or three native ARM development system they
want to ship to their developers for creating the Mono ARM JIT!

So if anyone wants to start working on it please contact Miguel *before*
doing so in order to avoid double effort.

For Google's SOC I would propose to rather create proper Mono/.NET
bindings for Maemo and (OT) GPE.
