I think there's a lot of commonality between these two projects (100 dollar PC and N770). In fact, I would encourage Nokia to target that same focus group (illeterate 3rd world computer users), which they probably will.. After all, N770 already makes them quite a lot more "computer producer" than smart phones ever did. Technically, what Maemo/N770 offers that other Linux distros don't, is a state-saving and reviving mechanism. Personally, I think that is about the only 'genuine' feature in the product, and rather useful with a flash-only device. -ak Clemens Eisserer kirjoitti 6.11.2005 kello 18.35: >> Hey guys! >> why not suggesting MIT from trying Maemo on the >> 100-dollar laptop project? >> I guess the 770 and the 100-dollar laptop share >> similar functionality, don´t you think? > > Don't think so since the 100Dollar laptop features a complete linux > and I don't think Maemo is ready for desktop use. > However you can suggest it if you think its a good idea. > > lg Clemens > _______________________________________________ > maemo-developers mailing list > maemo-developers at maemo.org > https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers
