2005/11/7, Marius Vollmer <marius.vollmer at nokia.com>: > Hi, > > as you all know, the current Application installer sucks more than > Cygnus X-1 [1], and this needs to change. \o/ > So, do you have any comments, feature requests, etc that go beyond > would you have on Debian already? Something that you have on Debian > but a bsolutely don't want to lose? Please let me know! I was going to say "apt-get moo", but I think that's already done... If the packages will be installed in /usr, I think official packaging would be nice to be signed and for unofficial(unsigned) packages there would be a semi-verbose (and after first reading, omittable) warning that explains the risks involved. This would help make the users aware that installing whatever on the device might not be a supported function. -- Kalle Vahlman, zuh at iki.fi Powered by http://movial.fi
