True Eero. The question propably is that what is more important for the community. We have 2 ways to go about this. 1: Split the application in the first proposed way, where the emphasis is on the status of the application. Thus if someone is for example only interestid in programs that he or she can download right away and install through the AI, then that information is easily found. Especially for newer people, there is propably a confusing difference between an AI installer ready application, and port done application. This propably isnt a typical way to do things, but with maemo the difference between an AI installable program and a port done application is huge. If the applications are divided between categories like games and etc, then it takes more time to find out what games are actually right away installable. In this proposal we could then on each page break down the programs by their category. 2: We break down the programs by their use like Eero proposed, and then for each program the status information is added as a field. This will basicly include the same information as the first proposal, but the emphasis will be different. Here again we could then after the first split, categorize the programs by their status also on for example the games page. So the questions comes down to which emphasis is more relevant? I myself would like to see the 1st proposal used, as it gives a very good picture of the total amount of AI packages, ports done, and wanted applications and how this situation is evolving. Im propably biased here, as that was the proposal made by us. But lets all agree on this and after that do the changes. More opinions?
