When I asked Frank Karlitschek (who - if I understand correctly is the
man behind kde-apps) it was not possible for him to release the
sourcecode because it contained code from some company not allowing the
redistribution under a free license.

That was around a year ago IIRC.

As far as I know there is no sourcecode available to any of the
software-index-websites around.
