I know this is the wrong list. The nokia website doesn't seem to have a 
proper place for 770 topics either.. where to go?

The memory card has stopped working in my device. When I stuck it in, it 
was recognized.

Later, I connected the 770 via USB to my pc.. Waited .. waited.. it never 
showed up as an external storage device.

The usb icon *did* appear on the 770.

So, I disconnected the usb cable.

The usb icon has disappeared..

I am thinking . maybe I need to format the memory card.

I click file manager, but now the memory card is greyed out. When I click 
it, it says it's not installed.

I have removed and inserted it a few times. It no longer says "memory 
card inserted" when I put in the card.

Perhaps I need to do a hard reset of the 770?

But, I can't find how to do that. There's a hole on the bottom. Tempted to 
shove a paperclip in there, but don't want to fry the device..
