Hi to all, I would like to get a "java" command from with a xterm. Could you please explain where modifications in the shell setup have to be made to get this running. (I installed JamVM on a Debian Linux i386, and there I get the command line "java" command working. A second thing is on my Linux JamVM I get an error: javax/sound/sampled/Listener ClassNotFound How do I get javax support ? My final goal is to get a Java application from www.interactivebrokers.com to work on the Nokia 770. However when you actually get a running combination of Swing and AWT components it looks really impressive with LayoutManagers, Tables and far more working, even events are delivered the right way through the touchpad! Startup for Swing applications very slow as you can imaging (15s). For now a x-terminal is needed to start it, its located in /var/lib/install/jamvm-1.33/bin/jamvm If you're interrested in playing a bit arround with it, I uploaded it to http://home.pages.at/talk4c/JamVM770-1.33.deb Have a lot of fun, lg Clemens -----Original Message----- From: maemo-developers-bounces at maemo.org [mailto:maemo-developers-bounces at maemo.org] On Behalf Of Stefan Sels Sent: lunedì 14 novembre 2005 11.16 To: maemo-developers at maemo.org Subject: [maemo-developers] Nokia N90 vs. 770, PAN, Keyboards etc... Hi 770 fellows, as proud owner of another (bit more expensive) N90 I tried to combine them a bit. Here are first conlusions -Peering works (after a error first) -Dialup does not work (I need to check the 3G/GPRS settings, but it works on the phone stand alone (WAP, etc) -i need to investigat the obex stuff Are there recommended ways for bluetooth (PAN) networking? Good longrange usb sticks? Some other thoughts : * Did somebody have tips for bluetooth Keyboards? * If I have an bluetooth headset, can I record stuff from that mic?
