Well - this would probably be more useful for kernel debugging, but anyway - if someone is looking for a project, how about implementing emulation for some 770 peripherals :-) In case someone is interested in adding OMAP1710 specifics to the qemu ARM system emulation, it might be useful to know that 1710 seems very similar to OMAP5912. I haven't been able to find 1710 docs from TI web site, but 5912 docs are available [2].
