Hello All

I continue my work around make .NET working on Linux handhelds.

I would like to see .NET a part of the Maemo platform. For now there is
already working winforms for the iPaq and Zaurus handhelds (
http://handhelds.org/~krokas/screenshots/port.30056.png ) I'm working to
provide gtk# support
too.http://handhelds.org/~krokas/screenshots/port.21396.png

As Maemo is Debian based - GPE DotNET on Nokia 770 should work.

However, a lot of improvements specific for the Nokia 770 hardware could be
done. For example I have written a support for the ARM VFP coprocessor for
the Portable .NET engine (on which GPE DotNET is based for now). I would
like to test it on a real hardware so that to finish it and include in the
PNET CVS.

I would like to know if it is possible for Nokia / the Maemo community to
send me a Nokia 770 for the many improvements that I have in my head and
would like to do for the Nokia 770 and Maemo.

And it would be very nice if you someone tests GPE DotNet on his Nokia 770
and post a screenshot somewhere:
http://handhelds.org/~krokas/GPE_DotNet_0.21_distro.tar.gz

To run it you need to run CLI apps as follows:

'foo/usr/bin/ilrun -L /foo/usr/lib/cscc/lib foo.exe'

Cheers,

Kirill.
