Hi,

You definitely want to have a look in the maemo kernel sources in:

kernel-source-2.6.12.3-2.6.12.3/arch/arm/mach-omap/clock.h

and more importantly for starters:

kernel-source-2.6.12.3-2.6.12.3/arch/arm/mach-omap/clock.h

I think that a proper reading of the frequency would poke the
appropriate registers.
