How about the support of 1.1 to GStreamer?  I am very eager to know.

 

So, "Getting started with multimedia in the Maemo 1.2 SDK" is applied to
1.1 (which release candidate?), isn't it?

Thats a mistake. 1.2 was indeed at 1 point in time planned to go out,
but it didnt :) . It was meant as an incremental update to 1.1 with
improvements in documentation and some new bug fixes etc. Documentation
was pushed out. Then we decided to focus on 2.0 , as lots of major
changes are coming through
