Yeah, it's not an easy problem.
Anyway, let's try this out. At this point I cannot _require_ maemo
developers to update the .modules file themselves but I expect some
will do it and I can help you fill out the remainder.

Regarding the placement of the .modules file I suggest we create a
directory projects/haf/jhbuild and grant you access there.

How does that sound?
