Hello, I'm quite new to debian packaging and after releasing maemo-stars many users are reporting problems with the dependency on libglade2. They say they can't find the package libglade2 and the application installer refuse to install the program. I'm confuses, shouldn' t the app installer handle automatically all this dependency problems? At least it is supposed to act like apt-get does. Additionally, I can see libglade2 in the maemo repository after enabling red pill mode. Is it something wrong in my package or what? this is the control file: Package: maemo-stars Version: 0.12+1-1 Section: user/extra Priority: optional Architecture: armel Depends: libglade2-0 Installed-Size: 2828 Maintainer: Alessandro Pasotti Description: A star atlas Any help would be highly appreciated. -- Alessandro Pasotti w3: www.itopen.it -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
