Hello,

I've heard that since firmware 51-13, the N770's wlan supports monitor
mode. I managed to compile the wireless tools (with maemo1.1) and I put
iwconfig and the libiw.so.28 on my N770.

When I try to put the wlan interface in monitor mode ("iwconfig wlan0
mode Monitor" as root), it seems to work (no error messages) but, if I
launch iwconfig wlan0, the mode is still fixed to Auto !

So what about this ? How have you been able to really put it under
monitor mode ?

A second question: How to test the monitor mode with tcpdump ?
