I have followed the tutorial up to the point where I am building the package. Everything works great to this point. Then I do: [sbox-SDK_PC: ~maemopad] > dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b dpkg-buildpackage: source package is maemopad dpkg-buildpackage: source version is 1.4 dpkg-buildpackage: source maintainer is Maemo Integration dpkg-buildpackage: host architecture is i386 fakeroot debian/rules clean It then hangs for about a minute (guess not timed) and then prints: libfakeroot: connect: Connection timed out This is a fresh install of Ubuntu in a VM. Developer packages added. Maybe not a symptom but I see no binary for maemopad after the process. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have several apps I want to write as the don't exist yet. The first is a simple password safe using TEA and CBC. Should be good for getting my feet wet. TIA, Roger Books -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
