Hello all, I am looking for someone with experience developing for the Nokia 770 as I would like to get rdesktop (www.rdesktop.org <http://www.rdesktop.org/> ) to work (port) on (to) the Nokia 770 and to have it connect to a windows XP desktop, server, etc. so I can run applications on the remote server over RDP with the nokia acting as a remote terminal/dumb terminal. I want to be able to run Excel, Word or any Windows program on the "server" and have the Nokia handle the display and the communication. This project has some money available for it and I would like to discuss how we can make this project work for both of us. I can probably do the port myself but I don't have the time and would like to get someone who has developed for the Nokia 770 and can quickly do the port. I will need a working version by the middle of January and a final working version by the end of January (exact dates to be determined after we discuss). I am in California (Los Angeles) USA but the goods can be delivered via email/ftp/. so it does not matter where you are. Terms of contract and payments will be negotiated but I will pay some amount up front, some more after the first working version and the last payment after delivery of final changes. Your emails and the maemo-developers at maemo.org I have found by looking around the Maemo site a bit. If you are interested in discussing about this project further please email me with your contact information and an answer to the following questions: 1. What have you developed for maemo so far? 2. How long have you been developing for maemo and other linux platforms? 3. What is your website that showcases your work? 4. Where do you live and work (city, state/country)? 5. How many hours do you expect this project to take (rough estimate based on above description)? 6. How much do you charge/hour (in US $$)? 7. Please send a resume/CV and/or describe your computing background? 8. Tell me any impressions/thoughts/suggestions you may have about this project, have you heard of anything like this already being worked on, .? Upon receiving your contact information and the above answers I will contact you back with all my contact information and I would like to schedule a phone conversation if a face to face meeting is not possible. If you would like to call me first I have included my cell phone as well. Thank you and I hope to hear from you.
