The module loads the firmware from /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/3825.arm to the chip. The firmware runs on the target (the CX3110x chipset) while the UMAC runs on the host (OMAP). The UMAC is actually loaded when umac.ko is insmoded. > PS: Wavemon would be nice to have. Timo: it depends on ncurses! I agree, but wavemon also needs WLAN monitor mode support and this is now included in 51-13. I only tested it with tcpdump, and it seems to reports the correct 802.11 frames. Cheers, Samuel.
