Kind of off topic ... There are wireless presentation type devices for Windows (like the linksys WPG54G). Does anyone know of something similar for Linux X11? Basically, are there any vnc or nomachine or X11 'pushers'? What I'm thinking about is were you have a linux box hooked up to the network and a data-projector. Then you "push" the display of your 770 or wireless laptop to that computer. This idea mainly for wireless presentations within a classroom where the instructor can just walk in with a 770 or Linux tablet and just start using the projector. X11 and vnc really aren't fast enough for anything other than simple presentations. A variation of nomachine (freenx) would be much faster. One kludge I'm trying is using krfb (the KDE desktop sharing tool based on vnc) on the laptop to export the session. Then ssh'ing into the computer with the projector and running a framebuffer vnc client back at the tablet. Has anyone seen anything similar for Linux? - mark
