Hello, Today I've released a new version of Eagle (0.7) and updated Maemo-TaskManager to run on Maemo 2.0/ITOS-2006. Eagle is now more powerful and enable developers to specify their own expand policy for every widget. I did give up trying to find a good heuristics, because uses always vary, developers were asking for it and I was having problems building my own applications. Just check for ExpandPolicy namespace that holds the Policy to enable users create their own and also some pre-defined polices, like All, Nothing, Horizontal, Vertical, ... Another nice feature is the gtk.Notebook support, called eagle.Tabs, really easy to use and it's now in TaskManager as well. Last but not least, Groups now can be nested, have their borders disabled and their orientation specified. This enable developers to write richer layouts inside each of pre-defined areas in Eagle. Unfortunately there is no repository yet, you may download files from: - Eagle: http://www.gustavobarbieri.com.br/eagle/packages/python-eagle_0.7maemo.deb - Task Manager: http://www.gustavobarbieri.com.br/eagle/packages/maemo-taskmanager_1.0_all.deb For screenshots and useful links, see my blog post: http://blog.gustavobarbieri.com.br/2006/07/new-eagle-and-maemo-taskmanager.html Please feedback! -- Gustavo Sverzut Barbieri -------------------------------------- INdT / Recife / Brazil Jabber: barbieri at gmail.com MSN: barbieri at gmail.com ICQ#: 17249123 Skype: gsbarbieri Mobile: +55 (81) 9927 0010 Phone: +1 (347) 624 6296; 08122692 at sip.stanaphone.com GPG: 0xB640E1A2 @ wwwkeys.pgp.net
