[maemo-developers] [maemo-developers] X Window export DISPLAY

Check the debian repository for ARM binaries of X.org. You'll need
to do something like "dpkg-deb -X [deb file] /" as root to get it
installed. I would suggest doing it on your desktop machine first (if
you're running Linux) and copying the actual binary over once you find
which .deb contains xhost. This means of course that you'll need to
expand the .deb file to a temp directory instead of the root like so
to avoid overwriting your existing system:

dpkg-deb -X [deb file] [temp dir]

Getting stuff displayed back isn't the best experience as it tends to
be rather slow and crashes easily (on the 770 side). I would suggest
using the VNC viewer package someone has published instead, as you can
pan around at least and if it crashes you don't lose your
application's state or session.
