I am willing to port an app that uses imake/xmkmf. There seems to be no packages built in maemo repository, so I tried to compile them from source (I got them from www.kitebird.com). I took a while to figure out the mess that was configuring it to build under scrathbox -in fact I didn' t managed to. The package wanted to use /lib/cpp instead of /usr/bin/cpp no matter how I altered linux.cf and imakemdep.h... But then I bumped at a reference to $IMAKECPP, set it up to /usr/bin/cpp and it worked. Now I am wondering where I should install them? under devkits/debian/bin? /tools/bin/? what about lib files? somewhere else? I am really confused since I am not familiar with scratchbox and it doesn't have an X11 tree. -- Jeferson Lopes Zacco
