Hi 

How can we control where files are written to and where they are read from once a package has been installed.

We would ask the same question of Icons. Whereas they are loaded from the same directory as the executable in Scratchbox, they are not being found anywhere once the package is installed.

Basically, we are seeing that the behaviour in scratchbox is somewhat different from the installed application.
