In 2.1, non-com.nokia dbus service names seem to work. There's also something funny going on with the extras menu; there are things in my scratchbox's extras menu that don't have entried in /etc/others-menu/ Other than that, I don't see what's wrong. It's my understanding that task manager will kill your application if you don't osso_initialize and install a handler, but I agree that has to be independent of getting the menu item to show up in the first place. -r
