But looking at the Wikipedia article it looks like you might have problems with their reference source code being considered free software as well. Maybe there's an independent free software implementation somewhere, kind of like Avahi for mDNS/DNS-SD. It doesn't matter too much to me, however, because I accidentally used it on my first trial of the Maemo Recorder software and the quality was horrible.
