Actually, staring at the ICd code for other reasons for the past week made me realize that there is a very ugly hack that might work in N800. If one sends the same D-Bus signal that the disconnect UI does, ICd will close down the connection and might work ok afterwards. Note also that ICd and ICd UI D-Bus interfaces are internal and thus subject to change in some way at some point. I'd really like to know if anyone is using the ICd D-Bus interface directly instead of libconic, which is the well-defined interface towards connectivity. In that case there might be some important functionality missing in libconic which then should be fixed. So, anything else besides not showing the disconnect UI?
