Thanks for the quick reply. I thought when I put the device into RD mode, the 
watchdog is not resetting the device at all (but I might be wrong). Is there 
a way to change the watchdog timer, when the device resets, before maemo is 
fully up?

I will flash the device on Monday evening, if nobody is interested in debug 
data.
