In fact I wasn't answering to you personally, I just took an anchor and tried to come up with a satisfactory answer for the people that here and there are telling us that we "just" or "simply" (real quotes) should take Ubuntu Mobile as a base. Not only in this thread, see also the comments at http://desdeamericaconamor.org/blog/node/378 Those people are asking us as Nokia to do the step, this is why I though it was worth to see in more details what this implies for us as Nokia. The maemo community can embrace any initiative, we as Nokia can only be happy about that (being Mamona, Poky, Newton port and etc). We want people to play and experiment as much as they want with the tablets and with (or without, no problem) maemo. Doing official steps. Well, that's another story.
