For 770 development, you'll probably want this one:

http://repository.maemo.org/stable/gregale/armel/Maemo_Dev_Platform_v2.2_armel-rootstrap.tgz

The link that should most likely point to that in the 2.2 tutorial,
points only to the binary-only packages it seems.
