[maemo-developers] How to add ogg to the supported codecs/containers list?

AFAIK you should probably use libmtext_gst. If this doesn't work I can
check further.

Again I'm not sure, but as you guessed probably the .desktop file is
just for the FM.

Indeed, the MP checks for mime-types with audio/* or video/* otherwise
it won't play.
