Take it from garages svn. https://garage.maemo.org/svn/osso-xterm there is 
both vte and xterm. I think vte tag 0.12.2-0mh5 is used.

Propably you should add feature request. I don't know where, but identify 
it with version 0.14 if it works with 0.13. Not sure was feature in 
original version eighter.

You can offcource fix/add these. take ui-rework branch and seend patch for 
me. I'll test it and put to next release. Or just request to join project. 
0.14 is still quite mess.
