[maemo-developers] GPE New Category crashes app in OS2008

Hello all,

I am having a strange problem where I have installed all the GPE
applications on an N800 running OS2008. They seem to run and work
normally except for trying to add new categories for events. As soon
as I try to add a category with any of the apps that allow it, I get
on stderr:

gpe-todo[2068]: GLIB WARNING ** GLib-GObject -
IA__g_object_set_valist: object class `GtkTreeView' has no property
named `allow-checkbox-mode'
Segmentation fault

The same apps (except the bora version) seem to work OK on a 770
running OS2007HE.

Am I missing some critical lib or are there known compatibility issues
with Chinook yet?
