Low-tech solution: ssh/osso-xterm + gconftool -R /system

It appears to be /system/osso/connectivity/BT/preferred in OS2008.

I don't know what it was in OS2007.

By the way, phonelink forgets to remove its .desktop file on
uninstallation, leaving a non-functional menu entry. Should I look for
a bug tracker and report it there, or can you maybe just fix it quickly
while nobody's looking? ;-)

I've been in the sun for a week. I took the bold step of leaving my
laptop at home. I found only 4K messages pending when I returned.
