This symlinking (or overlaying using FUSE) way is a can of worms which IMHO should stay closed :-) What you expect to happen if you remove the card when system is running? And if you don't plan to remove the card you may as well boot from it and save yourself from all the headache of modifying root filesystem to support it. Frantisek
