Previously: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.handhelds.maemo.devel/3692 However, the issue was resolved by correcting the /etc/resolv.conf file inside scratchbox. I assume this is the file that the scratchbox chroot shell (or, more importantly, glibc) in the given target thinks is /etc/resolv.conf. Mine is correct for my setup, yet I have the exact same symptoms described in that thread of almost a year ago--apt-get cannot resolve hostnames, yet other tools like wget seem fine. This is Scratchbox 1.0 R4 and the Maemo 3.0 SDK ARMEL target installed via the maemo 3.0 scripts on repository.maemo.org. Regards, Andrew Barr
