Thanks, it works for me too. I'm using the second method on a 1gb card. Though I couldn't find a source to download a firefox-armel binary. Did you compile it? I don't really want to set up another cross compiling environment on my linux box, and it would possibly take half a day if I tried to compile it on the n800/chroot. Anyway, great idea.
