I have installed SDK (scratchbox and devroots) on my linux laptop. N800 had devfs flashed to it. I understand how to build apps on laptop and push/exec on N800....but I'm still at a loss as to how to get Opera back on device (and some other apps present on N800 from factory). I would think Opera would be available either from SDK or via pkg install using ApplicationManager on device. Just because I want dev-oriented device...doesn't mean I want all apps to be missing. I have read ALL N800-related docs I am aware of...and haven't found this information. I have examined app repositories and don't see Opera anywhere. Minimo ain't cutting it for me at the moment...a skosh crashy. mike Michael Wiktowy wrote: > On 1/19/07, Mike Klein <mklein at vxappliance.com> wrote: >> > Some places to start: >> > http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalog2006 >> > http://maemo.org/maemowiki/OS2007_Tested_Applications >> > >> So in general I can install mistral and have compatiblity with bora? > > The word seems to be that some mistral/scirroco apps can run without > modification/recompiling on the n800/bora.
