And when I already introduced myself in such unpleasant way (and am recognized as "that annoying guy" from now on), I have nothing to lost ;-) Because I read licenses of programs I use and try to avoid infringing them, I'm still afraid of the Maemo SDK Nokia binaries license. I already posted that to this list, but as nobody bothered to answer, I'll repeat it: --- 2.1 Subject to and in accordance with Clause 3 of this Agreement, Nokia grants the Licensee a license to install and use Licensed Software on the local hard disk(s) or other permanent storage media of up to five (5) computers and use the Licensed Software on no more than five (5) computers or terminals at a time for a period of 365 days from the first installation. --- That means that when I decide I'll install those binaries, I must permanently delete them after one year. Without those binaries, using SDK is just a pain, I need to test on the real device much more often than I'd like to. Can I get a contact to someone in Nokia who could give me another license which is not hostile to developers? I'd prefer to have a license without the sentence "for a period of 365 days from the first installation"; but something like e. g. "for a period of 3650 days" could work too if your legal department really wants to have for some strange reasons a time limit there. Thanks. Jiri -- Jiri Benc http://upir.cz/maemo
