Yes, thanks, I just installed debhelper outside of scratchbox, removed debhelper from the build dependencies in debian/control, and also decreased the number in debian/compat. That last change is probably a bad idea, but it seems to work. This allows me to build the packages. Of course, I'd rather have a real debhelper in scratchbox so I have to make less changes to debian build files. > Just don't upgrade debhelper and you should be fine.
