Compare the tabs of the two notebooks in the attached program. In one notebook, tabs are positioned on top. In the other, they are positioned on the right side. They do not look the same. Most noticeably, the background shading of the unselected tabs is different. Also notice that the selected tab has a blue line when the tab is on top but nothing when it is on the side. However, what is ruining my application is that the borders are different. When the tabs are on top, the borders on the top and bottom are much smaller than the borders on the left and right for the right-positioned tab.
