Hi Tollef, good to see you here. We are looking forward to strenghthen this collaboration. I met Jono last week in LinuxTag also to tell him 'Hopefully, we can work well together'. From our point of view you & the Intel team working on MID are now like maemo developers, your wishes are... at least wishlist items in our roadmap. ;) Is anybody (you?) going to blog about the Ubuntu Mobile progress? If the blog has a specific category for mobile stuff it will be a honor/pleasure to aggregate it to planet maemo, a simple way to know about the progress and stay in touch with the maemo community. Also, see you in GUADEC? >Hi, > >I thought it would be appropriate for me to introduce myself. >I work for Canonical as the technical lead on Ubuntu Mobile. >We are currently working on bringing Hildon and the osso-* >libraries into Ubuntu proper. >https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MobileAndEmbedded has a bit more information. > >Hopefully, we can work well together, and I believe most of >our patches should be interesting for you as well. >https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-mobile/ has our branches >where we have made changes and links to both ViewCVS-like >functionality as well as the Bazaar branches themselves. > >If you have any questions, do feel free to ask. :-) > >-- >Tollef Fog Heen
