Hi, I tried the usb host mode on my N800, but I did not get it working. Here's what I did: - In scratchbox SDK_ARMEL I downloaded the kernel-source-rx-34_2.6.18-osso40 sources, - Applied the patches-tusb-n800-2007-05-04.tar.gz patch set from muru.com (it did apply cleanly) - make n800_defconfig - make zImage - flasher -f -k -R /scratchbox/users/<username>/home/<username>/kernel-source-rx-34/arch/arm/boot/zImage - echo host > /sys/devices/platform/musb_hdrc/mode I executed the last command twice and in dmesg there was a line saying that it is already in host mode, so I assumed that all is well now. However no matter what I connected to the USB port no message appeared in dmesg or in /sys/bus/usb/devices I used a male mini-B - female A converter that was plugged into the n800 and the memory stick / externally powered usb hdd was connected to that. Any suggestions how to continue from here? BR, Marcell ____________________________________________________________________________________ Food fight? Enjoy some healthy debate in the Yahoo!
